PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Business Analyst is a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly collaborative professional responsible for evaluating business processes, analyzing data, and supporting reporting and insights both internally and externally. This role conducts both internal operational analytics and external client facing analytics to support the ForLife™ and Forcyte™ Platforms.
The role’s responsibilities include the following:
- Write complex queries, compile data, and generate reports utilizing Amazon QuickSight.
- Tell a story based off the data, propose insights, and see actions through to the finish on those insights.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight, leveraging AWS-hosted datasets.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting processes to support self- service analytics.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with business stakeholders, process specialists and users to conduct interviews, workshops, and user sessions to capture real business needs.
- Optimize performance and usability of QuickSight dashboards for both technical and non-technical users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data discrepancies, performance, and visualization.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting support for clients, leadership requests, and operational reviews.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to team members and end-users on QuickSight.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role.
- Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight or similar business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify actionable insights.
- Understanding of relational databases, data structures, and reporting concepts.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and analytical findings to diverse audiences.
- Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities concurrently.
- Experience in healthcare, blood banking, biologics, or other regulated industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud-based systems.
- Proficiency in SQL or other data querying languages and experience working with large data sets.
EDUCATION:
- A BA/BS in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
