New Clients Make the Move to BBCS
February 11, 2021
AUBURN, WA – February 11, 2021 – Blood Bank Computer Systems, Inc. (BBCS) today announces two of their newest clients recently implemented ABO Suite™.
Regional West Medical Center (RWMC) went live at the end of January after just over 10 months of implementing! Their move to ABO Suite also included a data conversion, which was successfully completed by the BBCS team. Inova Blood Donor Services (IBDS) went live in mid-December with a data conversion as well. Both clients took advantage of cloud hosting services provided by Optimize Technology Group (OpTech).
ABO Suite received market approval by the FDA in 2016 and represented a full replacement for the industry leading Blood Bank Control System. ABO Suite has taken the market by storm and has grown to be the most popular BECS solution amongst Blood Centers of America member centers.
“We are so proud of the collaboration between our team and the implementation teams of RWMC and IBDS. Implementations of this size and complexity are frequently met with challenges, and the unwavering dedication to the project these teams demonstrated ensured these implementations went very smooth!” says Brian Forbis, CEO of BBCS.
