CEO Summit

BBCS introduced the BBCS CEO Summit where we bring together CEOs from all over the world. We share with attendees our strategic plans for the current year and listen to the perspectives of these industry leaders as they share insights, trends they are seeing, and the challenges they face. Together we strategize on what BBCS can do to ensure we continue to provide real solutions to help address those challenges. At these Summits, BBCS also previews new potential products and features, using CEO feedback to help set development priorities.

AND MANY MORE

Affiliations are another opportunity for BBCS to give our clients confidence in knowing that BBCS is networked with industry leaders. Throughout our history, we’ve worked in close collaboration with blood banking organizations and their third-party vendors to continually advance the effectiveness of technology solutions and support the mission of our clients.

BBCS has current affiliations with the following organizations:

Blood Centers of America (BCA)

Blood Centers of America (BCA) is a member-owned organization comprised of nearly 50 independent blood centers geographically dispersed throughout North America, representing over 30 percent of the U.S. blood supply. Along with their core business of providing a substantial portion of U.S. blood supply, BCA members provide a variety of other services including patient blood management, transfusion services, immunohematology testing, therapeutic apheresis, and tissue and cord blood banking. In addition, BCA members provide a variety of human blood products, cells and tissues to the therapeutic, diagnostic and cell therapy industries.

Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB)

BBCS is a proud member of the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB), an international, not-for-profit association representing individuals and institutions involved in the field of transfusion medicine and cellular therapies. This association supports high standards amongst the nation’s community blood banks and hospital transfusion centers. BBCS has been actively involved with AABB and the annual AABB convention since the 1980s, and we continue to support the organization and our member clients in their commitment to optimizing patient and donor care and safety.

America's Blood Centers (ABC)

Founded in 1962, America’s Blood Centers is the national organization bringing together community-based, independent blood centers. BBCS has been contributing to ABC’s mission since 2014. BBCS recognizes their vital role in support research and education towards the best treatment and practices for blood banking and transfusion medicine.

BBCS is committed to partnerships that accelerate the design, implementation, and management of blood banking software systems to provide our clients with the best products available. Our fully integrated solution is a result of our collaboration with other industry-leading organizations as valued partners:
